i5 6600k no overclock

about 6-7 months ago i paired my i5 6600k with a b150 board making it to where i can't overclock

so my question is does it still provide me with any advantages over the 6500 with not overclock?

Well even out of the box the 6600K does have higher base and boost clocks so yes you do get slightly better performance than the 6500.

but in real life performance it shouldnt have any difference, right? maybe some extra points

Thanks i felt like an idiot for mot doing my research at the time but im glad i atleast got some performance boost
