M Audio AV 40 vs. BX5 D2

BlueBerrial

Hello all.

I am looking to replace my current computer speakers. I will use them to play games, listen to music, blah blah.....

So my question:  is it worth the extra money to get the BX5 D2 speakers? or will the av 40s be good enough

Also. If you have any other recommendations that would be great.

The BX5 D2 has more of the same. But for a larger room and more quality then the BX5 D2 because of more watts and larger drivers. But for the most part the AV40 should do the trick

This is the second time I recommend the AV40 to someone on this forum.

Get the M-Audio BX5 if you have the money.

Otherwise the other ones are ok, too.

Get the cheaper one, and if you feel like "upgrading" in the future get something more expensive than the BX5.
