I would imagine the PC and PS2 version are similar if not the same game, but the PC version would probably be able to be tweaked a bit more.. But the PS2 version has a controller.

They're actually quite different from what I remember. 

I distinctly remember the PC Harry Potter games being quite mediocre while the console games were pretty good (the first three games anyway).

This was a time when "multiplats" were barely similar. The PlayStation 2 version is probably the version that you were playing when you were younger.
