Hello

I'm a new miner(in it for the fun not rly for a profit, atm that is), im currently running nicehash and a nicehash wallet.

But i was wondering if it would be better to use a diffrent miner/wallet and why.

Any other tips and advice are welcome.

Currentyl busy reading some of the posts on the forum.

Thanks

So any mobo should work the same right? i dont have too look at chipset or anything specific since cpu shouldnt be overclocked when gpu mining. Just as much pci-e as possible?

I see some ppl using +€100 mobo's. Why? There's cheaper ones with 6pci-e (ex. ASRock B250 Pro4)

Well at least what's your current GPU?

M8 hhaha i no longer have desktop, im using the laptop i bought for school and some gaming. (Gtx 960m, 2gb). 0.20cents a day hha and its like €0.18/kwh over here. But i kinda want a gaming/mine rig. Feel me, mine when im not on it. (work, sleep, ...). Just trying to absorb some information atm :)

If I were you I'd build a proper gaming/performance PC for everyday use, and for fun mine with it at night or when you're at school. It would be a waste to throw all that money into a rig specifically for mining. (In your case)

Well thats kinda my plan, but i want the parts to be good for gaming but if i decide to go full mining i have the possibilty.

I know a 1070 does pretty good in eth (from the stats i've seen). So i would earn some cash on it. Not alot but hey, might help me buy a dedicated rig for example.

Also when mining with something othere than nicehash do you get paid directly or do you also have to wait until you reach a certain amount of coins?
