Buying a PC For Video Editing

Hi. I'm buying a PC for Video Editing  primarily, occasionally I'll be programming Android, Web e.t.c.

I have built a few computers myself, But I need help buying components which is the best bang for the buck, and that will work together best.

My budget is around $1000, any suggestions would help, Thanks

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
