better psu, raidmax PSUs tend to be horrible. get a corsair CX instead. also, get a cheaper 1050ti or gtx 1060 3gb instead(6gb if you have money to spare).

What's your budget? What are you going to do with the system? If you are gaming on it then it makes more sense to go with a ryzen 3 1200 and a better gpu - it's going to be a more balanced build. Ryzen gains performance with faster memory so I would say pick up a faster kit. Also I would pick a better psu - something from corsair or evga.

With that GPU, his memory speed will hardly be what's gonna be holding his performance back, getting a fast kit of RAM right now is comically overpriced tbh

Get a cheaper 1050 ti,a strix wont help a lot in gaming than a normal 1050 ti like a Zotac one, means better is to get a cheaper 1060 6 GB and get a Better PSU like a Cosair CX Series PSU,since the one you chose is not a good psu,Ummn ryzen benefits from faster ram, means try to feed it faster ram if u can.

That's why I suggested a better gpu :)

Yes, but he's better off sticking to R5 if it's isn't just for gaming, perhaps get a 1400 instead but getting an R3 with Fast ram is gonna be a lot slower than an R5 with slow ram. Unless it's only for gaming.
