iCloud Drive and Finder in macOS 10.13

At least on my system (2016 256GB nTB MBP) if you drag any file from the downloads shortcut in the Dock into a folder in iCloud Drive in Finder that folder will glitch out and cause graphical artifacts in that folder specifically. If you leave the folder Finder will behave normally or at least appear to. 

 

The solution seems to be to cmd+z to undo the file movement (does not always work) but restoring the folder from TimeMachine always works. 

Just something I noticed. Otherwise High Sierra seems mostly pretty stable. 

 

The issue does not appear to be present when using list view, only thumbnail view. 

The issue also does not appear to be present outside of iCloud Drive folders. 

 

Would be interested to see if this happens to anyone else.

Never used Windows 98 xD

 

I mean it works and the file is placed but you cant see it visually otherwise Finder glitches in that folder. But if you switch to list view it works fine so there has to be an underlying issue with how Finder moves files into the cloud and then displays them. 

 

Also time machine has always been kinda wonky but it works xD
