blue yeti Blue Yeti Mic Arm

Hey guys,

 

I was looking through a lot of older posts on here about the Blue Yeti;

I bought one for streaming purposes and I love using it, however the quality on the actual unit is not the best because I have it placed so far away from me, I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for a microphone arm for this monster of a product. Alot of reviews on products are very back and forth on if it works because of the weight of the Microphone.

 

I am sure this has been posted before and I did look through 3 different pages but I found nothing recent on this subject.

 

I am also looking into a pop filter, I think?

The way I will be using my microphone, is going to be to the left of my head about a foot or less away from me, I am not sure if I should be getting a pop filter or a cover that sits ontop of the microphone head and covers all sides. I hear the yeti is very sensitive and I am not sure what I should be looking for when it comes to that.

 

I have no idea if I am using the proper terminology so I will be overly clear about this;

Ideally I think I will be hanging the microphone upside down depending on the length of the arm, but I have very little knowledge on this; any help would be appreciated.
