Which GPU should I get with a Ryzen 3 1300x? Thanks

What's the resolution, PSU and budget? Those would also help. Looks like between a GTX 1050ti and GTX 1060 6GB, but if you're doing more compute tasks maybe an RX 570. Whats the PC for?

Yours faithfully

1080p, around 500 watts and maybe $130 to $200. It would be used just for gaming.

GTX 1050ti or 1060 3gb with that budget, unless you buy something used.

Used 970 980

hmm I would think a 970 or 980 would bottleneck the Ryzen 3

A 970 is faster than a 1050ti and a 980 is even faster

even with 1gb less the 1060 3gb will outperform the 1050ti 4gb.  The 1060 6gb is a better option but about $50 out of your budget.

my understanding is you want a gpu bottleneck.  You want your gpu maxed during gameplay.  Not sure if the 970 or 980 would bottleneck a ryzen 3 though but you definitely don't want a cpu bottleneck

Does the 960 out preform the 1050ti?
