Want to know which mobo to get?

Which CPU is that? If it's one of the Xeon Phi CPUs the individual cpu core performance is too low to be viable.

Yep 1.7ghz across 72 cores and only 4 PCI-E lanes

I believe it is x86 based, but it's a completely different architecture from core. Performance is Atom like, but it has more instruction support (I believe AVX512 is coming on the new ones).
