I was wondering if its worth upgradeing my pc from what i have now, (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/F6ZN8K) to a better cpu and motherboard.
It shows no Issues in PartPicker but im wondering if it will still be a bottelneck like the old one.

Give me a headsup if there something to remove/add

Well if you were to do this you probably want a better cooler, a 120 AIO is a bit small for a Kaby Lake i7 if you are going to overclock it.

I am also not sure you will get much of an improvement the ipc on Skylake and Kaby Lake are very similar (i.e., might as well be the same), so your only improvement will be in frequency. So your best improvement will be if you overclock - if you have already OCed your 6600k then you may not see much improvement.

and 80 dollars more with mobo's much more expensive he should stay 7700k until like the 9700k if that even comes out

Unlike what everyone else is saying if you are gaming no. Wait another intel platform. You can invest in a cooler and then oc it for like 1.5 years until another mainstream cpu comes out.

So a cpu cooler like this for the i7-7700k, and my i5 is 20% overclocked with both gpus overclocked. (cpu running 80-100% while gameing, tho no laggspikes or thermalthrotheling. But sometimes it hard crashes and cant get it stable even if i unclock the gpus, thats the only thing iv noticed.
(Gpus at 62C and cpu at 56 when running Heaven Bench)

Thing is to when i run Gpu says i im running the gpus in x8 PCIe when its plugged to x16 (that to is the reason i upgrade the board)
Not sure if it makes that mutch of an diffrence tho
And when i run Heaven Bench everything unclocked it runs fine then hard crashes out of nowhere no clue whats the problem

Yea something like that should do fine.

Hmm those temps look fine - what voltage are you at to get your overclock? It sounds like it may be a bit low, maybe?

Atm im running unclocked and just put powerlimit to 120% in msi afterburner with auto fans.
Havent done mutch of voltage tweaking to not break it incase i do upgrade and sell this

I was actually wondering about the voltage for your i5 overclock.

Idle now its running and Gpu1 893mv Gpu2 850mv
When bench its 1v on both

hmm, my 1080 (not SLI admittedly) runs at 668mv idel but benches in heaven at about 1.15, I had some problems when my overclock was +200 MHz and the memory clock was +300 MHz, but I dialed it back to +140 and +250 and haven't had problems since.

Just restart my pc to get the most fresh numbers. The Bench as you can see gets laggspikes but i dont know whats the cause. Heaven crashed befor it was finished

Okay that's odd, the graphs look like mine did when it was thermal throttling, but all of your temps look good and there is no indication of temperature issues.

Basically what I had found with mine is that when I was throttling or overclocked too hard the card would give an error that windows would interpret as a "the GPU hardware is gone" message. Which caused Heaven to crash (and incidentally games to drop to ~5fps until I exited). I fixed it by a combination of an aggressive fan curve and reducing my overclock. However, you don't have an overclock right now so the stock fan curve should be more than okay.

The only thing that I keep looking at and wondering about is that you are actually running at the full base clock in your idle screen shot - mine drops down to more like 1250-1290 Mhz when there is nothing graphics intensive going on, and that your voltage is fairly high, I don't see the 800+mV range until the card starts actually doing something.   The only thing I can see that might be different is that I don't have the "Force constant voltage" setting checked in the General settings, I also don't have "Unlock Voltage control" checked so that could also make a difference.

Any clue if it is the Sli thats is the problem?

Nope that's a good motherboard, I know a couple of people who have it and they are happy with how well it works/overclocks.

X8 doesn't impact performance so it doesn't matter.

Z370 boards can be around $30-40 cheaper than their Z270 equivalents.

Plus if you are going to buy 7700K why not some other chip?
