the CPU is pretty much garbage and will hold you back but they should run and work at potentially playable framerates

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Everything should run on high with -okay- frame rates. The only thing to worry about is GTA. You might need to stick to medium settings to get a reasonable frame rate. If you are using your integrated GPU you won't be able to run any games basically, which is what you've learned already. The 4gb of dedicated VRAM on that GPU should help out tremendously.

Yeah, though I'm not 100% certain gta5 will launch on a dual core chip

it does, but thats a 2.7GHz haswell chip so its not really good.

Rocket league will probably hit 100+ fps

Minecraft will hit 600+++ fps with optifine

Csgo will do pretty well, 100+ fps

Not sure about gta5, probably 60fps on low

those numbers seem a bit high to me to be honest

id upgrade that CPU to an I5 aswell, just grab one off  the used market. GPU first though because that will make the largest impact

I have bought like 35+ used parts, none have failed me.

yeah i feel these fps numbers was very high so. I found 1 video with a 950 and a G1820 but the fps were locked to 30 so that didn't helped me

Not at all, the games you want to play are super easy to run.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

My buddy gets better on a 1050 to and i3 2100

neat, then they arent too unrealistic but that chip has an aditional two threads and runs faster. sure its on sandy so its slower in IPC but im still pretty sure it would win a CPU benchmark tbh.

same here, exept when i have bought stuff on a gamble like my 270x and 280x which were both dead.

Btw Bananasplit why good luck when i find too many 4gen i5 on PriceSpy? Later i'm going for a i5 4670k or 4690k

they not sold anywhere in store anymore, a few online places have them, a few of them have really started to jack up the price. the I5 4690K costs as much as a used, late batch, I7 4790K
