Will This Work Properly?

The build you posted in the OP should have no issues. You can get cheaper RAM, a cheaper cooler, and should get a better PSU. If you just change that, it shouldn't have any compatibility issues, and you save a few bucks. Imo, you should try to get a 1440p monitor, the price difference is $100. The 1080 is perfectly capable of 1440p gaming, so keep that if you want.

Since you already have the SSHD, there is no reason to get another HDD, and you can add an SSD if you want to in the future.

Yes, i have changed a few things and have come to a conclusion, i can get the build i'm about to post for 1979 dollars, which is incredible since i can't order all of the things to Denmark from other countries, but i have done with a good deal of them. Here it is

The only difference being that i'm getting the new silent edition ultra of this case, and the psu saying atx12v where i can buy it.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xGtTGf

Yes you might think "but you can get that and that cheaper and so on. But this is already much cheaper than it started out, because when i first started making this, i had to buy most things in Denmark, and it is so expensive here. Now i've got a much better graphics card (gtx 1080 ti) which is 320 dollars cheaper than the gtx 1080 in Denmark!! So you probably get my point.

Right so i'm getting an upgrade soon (basically new system just with the old harddrive), and i'd like to know if it'll work properly, and if i should change anything. I know some of you might think "why not go 1440p!?", and that is simple because i do not think the difference is big enough and i honestly just want nice and smooth gameplay. But i'll show the parts now. Oh and i'm getting the silent edition of the H440.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qr6zJV

Oh and btw i am going to be overclocking, not push it to it's maximum potential, just casual.

So that's my new build, if i should change anything or something isn't compatible (which shouldn't be the case) just tell me :)

PS Yes i know i made a topic earlier but it's pretty much dead now, so yeah.

With that kind of budget, you go 1440p...

Get the PC37X on Massdrop whenever it's on sale. Pretty much the same headset, but at $120.

Your build should work, as PCPP has filters, but the RAM is quite expensive for its speed, you should get an SSD and HDD rather than an SSHD, you should get a 1080 Ti, and the PSU is not very good.

I would change it to something like this. Get Windows off of Kinguin for ~$30

Okay, interesting. Now, the reason i chose SSHD is because i already have it, i also have windows 10. Why would i want to change the case?  And is the cryorig better? Oh and why is the other motherboard better?

No, the NH-D15 is the best air cooler. Around 4°C cooler. It does cost nearly twice as much, though.

The H440 is good, but quite old and expensive. The P400S is much less expensive, and this version has tempered glass on the side.

What benefits does the motherboard you chose have? And will the Cryorig fit with the case you chose?

It costs less, has a very decent VRM, just like the Prime. I'm sure @dave_k knows something about them, even though it's not AM4. They're fairly similar in terms of features and aesthetics. The Prime does have support for Asus Aura, which is considered to be the best RGB ecosystem.

I see, sounds good. But will the cpu cooler fit inside the Phanteks case?

If you click the gear icon to the right of an entry, you can mark it as purchased so viewers know that suggesting a change will cost more.

The memory timings shown by pcpartpicker do not match those listed by Corsair. While you've chosen a more expensive memory kit, memory timings listed by Corsair (14-16-16-31) show the kit to be better than less expensive kits.

I admit to being an Asus fan. The motherboard is an excellent choice. :)

Other than the psu, this is a good build. One can tweak the other components, but it mostly comes down to personal preference.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

big boiz from ocn have this thread, there are too many Z370s for me to remember, so know only the few top models.

The Prime Z370-A is good for the cash

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

It should be close. Really close. But I think it should fit.

This guy got it to fit inside the P400S with 1mm to spare.

The website for the case says it supports up to 160mm, the cooler is 160-163mm, depending on how you set up the fan.

The NH-U12S should have no issues fitting inside the case, and has very similar temps. A bit more expensive.

OC3D has a test of a bunch of coolers.

Yes, i have changed a few things and have come to a conclusion, i can get the build i'm about to post for 1979 dollars, which is incredible since i can't order all of the things to Denmark from other countries, but i have done with a good deal of them. Here it is

I live in Norway, so I do get your point. Don't you have import taxes to worry about in Denmark?

I would, but i order it from newegg which have their items in Denmark aswell i think. But i don't think it will be that big of a problem since i've done many orders from outside the EU without too many problems, either way i'll figure something out. But this is definitely the build i'm going with :)
