Please help computer is very hot

hi guy i created this account o see if someone can help me on my computer being so hot.

i dont know much about computer bit it has a i7 950 in it and i bought it of a guy in 2014.

please help! i dont want to endanger my family by working.

What temperature is it reaching?

i cannot touch the heatsink it is scalding.

I don't know how a heat sink can be that hot. Does it have a fan on it and has it been running for a long time with a high load?
