A problem with video recording

So I've been trying to record multi track audio in my videos, but it just won't work. Right now I'm using Shadowplay and the experimental audio features, but when I import my recording into an editor, it doesn't show 2 audio tracks (I did choose the option to separate both tracks in Shadowplay). What should I do to fix this?  I want to be able to cut my microphone audio at certain points in the recording, but I just can't seem to figure out what to do. 

P. S. I tried OBS, but that won't record my mic, it picks up that I'm talking, but no audio in recording

If you're using OBS, do you have it saving your mic to a different track? Is your mic even enabled actually?

Yes it was on a different track and enabled, I ain't dumb.

UPDATE: Multi track audio works now. It didn't work in Hitfilm Express, but it works in DaVinci Resolve

Gotta do this like I'm working with the lowest common denominator, you never know what people forget.

Yeah Hitfilm gives me issues sometimes with multiple audio tracks.
