Hello,

I have 2x 4GB DDR 4 Kingston Hyperx ram.

every time i play a game gtaV or PUBG my game closes and i get a error windows is running low on memmory, i checked with taskmanager on my second screen and it said ram was 80% while i was playing pubg.

So i ran the windows memory diagnostic and it was 100% complete with no errors found.

all my temps are good.

is my ram just broken or am i forgetting something?

this started happening 1 week ago Sunday it was working fine Wednesday I was going to game again but it kept giving me this error.

Also i don't get this error when playing CS:GO or Rust.

I put the ram in different ram slots but my PC didn't boot so i put them back in 2 and 4.

you mean the resolution I'm using?

1920*1080 im using a 24inch screen 60hertz not 4k

No, the page file.

Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Performance (settings) > Virtual Memory

What does it say next to "Total paging file size for all drives"?

The error means that you don't have enough RAM to run your games. You can either make a larger page file, or you can install more RAM.

It might even be bug in game (memory leak) or some background process taking memory. Which would be reasons why it isn't constant issue or has just started happening.

I'm at work right now so i can't check that i tried reinstalling windows, downloaded all the drivers and games again but the error is still happening.

I'll check the profile page settings once I'm home thank you for the help.

Seems like game related issue then. If it happens after you have lowered graphic settings, you just need to get another 8gigs.

My friends with same ram don't have this issue tho, is it because my ram is half a year older and doesnt work as good as their ram or did i get unlucky?

No. But you can run Memtest to be sure. Though it might be mobo side issue if you already have issues with 2 slots. If its new-ish board, that would be good reason for RMA.
