Updating BIOS

I plan on updating my bios but I saw somewhere it only recognized fat32 flash drives and mine is "exfat" will it still work?

I built my pc yesterday and am on F5 bios version and I feel like it'll be good to update it to the newest so it may fix some of the many problems I have.

A couple...

1) Everytime I boot up my computer the CPU fan and GPU will turn on but my mobo doesn't and it shows a (F9) indicator at the bottom. It will turn on and off like 5 times before finally booting up.

2) Lots of overclocking problems. I've followed some guides and I've had an issue where my overclock doesn't go through. I'll change the settings in BIOS then boot my computer and according to Ryzen Master and CPU ID my CPU is running at 1.5Ghz. 

3) I've also had problems with RAM. I have a Corsair DDR4 16GB 3200Mhz kit and after trying to get it to 2933 or 3200 and booting up my pc it shows 1200Mhz in CPU-ID

Is there any way to convert exfat to fat32 without feeling the need to strangle myself?

you just need to format it, but this will remove all the data (also fat32 only supports up to 32GB drives)

I had a 32Gb sandisk yesterday for windows but in the disk management I accidentally clicked the x button which deleted that drive and now it no longer works. I found a 128GB one today and backed everything up and wiped the drive but then realized it doesn't have fat32 as an option.

Is that the same as reformatting? I've done that, multiple times. Everytime I plug it in I get "Please insert a disk into USB drive"

It tells me to use NTFS, but I need fat32 for the BIOS

use NTFS, then reformat it later

Got it to work  My frequencys seem to be a lot better now aswell, thanks a ton for the help
