Upgrade advice

Hello, i'm looking forward to upgrading my pc to handle games like PUBG, Rust, GTA V, etc. My budget is ~ 300 €, is it worth or should i save some more? Thanks.

 

PC Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte H61M-S2-B3
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.1Ghz

Memory: 1xDDR3 4GB

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

PSU: CODEGEN 500X (500w)

I would upgrade that ram or if you really want to get a new card.

slap in another dimm of RAM. 8GB is basically required to run any new game. I would then go and get a 1050 ti for around $150, and use the remaining money to buy a i7 2600k

Is 1050 Ti compatible with my motherboard?

Because, GTX 1050 Ti is Pci-E 3.0 and my motherboard says Pci-E 2.0?

PCIe is backwards compatible.
