4670k vs 4770k rendering performance?

A decent gap. A 8350 would be better for 3d rendering though.

As for video encoding, that should be more reliant on the gpu you're using for acceleration.

I see.

For the GPU, it would be a GTX 770.

Anyway, a 8350 would be great for 3d rendering. If you're not doing heavy video editing, it would be the better choice.

If you're heavy of video editing, it might be better to go for the i7.

i7 if you have the money, 8320 if you dont.

Definitely go with the Intel Core i7-4770K if you're doing video editing as was already suggested. The AMD FX-8320 is a great budget option though but make sure you get a decent board like the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 if you go the AMD route so you can do some decent overclocking.
