Hi guys, I'm a noob to pc building and will be building my first one very soon. For my build I'm going with Asus strix B350-F and the strix 1080ti. So I'm wondering if anyone can enlighten me about GPU sag because I want to decide if I should get a bracket also.

So firstly When installing the GPU Lift it up with your hands and screw in the GPU Super tight. And It should hold up well. if it doesn't and bothers you. Then get a Support bracket on Amazon for like 15USD.

CPU: Intel Core i9 9900K | Ram: 32GB Corsair LPX 3200 DDR4 | Asus Maximus XI Hero Z390 | GPU: EVGA RTX2080 XC | 960 EVO Samsung 500GB M.2 | 850 EVO Samsung 250GB M.2 | Samsung 1TB QVO SSD | 1TB HDD WD Blue

Just get some GPU viagra. I don't think the Strix GTX 1080ti has that much sag, although it's a heavy card.

Yours faithfully

a different approach to prevent gpu sag from even happening at all would be to get a cube or desktop style case where the board is mountet horizontaly

something like the MS tech crow Q1

I see. I think ill buy a support bracket just in case. Better safe than sorry I guess. I'm a little too careful because I've saved up for a long time for this build and since it's also my first I kinda want it to be flawless :P

Now That is a Support Bra :P

if you don't move/carry your case a lot just get the 2 screws tightened by hand as much as you can without messing the case holes it should be fine by the time you change your motherboard.
