I'm having an issue where when I type to search for files... I get through like three letters, then it just freezes up. Not my entire OS, just the start menu and task bar. Should I just reinstall the classic start? Or should I get rid of Classic Start then re-install? (I'm assuming that you can un-install classic start like any other programs, though it'll be quite annoying to go into the metro then search since I can't right now)

Edit: I can't even enter metro or use anything on the start menu. What a strange thing...

Anyone else having this issue?

I have Win 8 Pro.

Thanks.

Well, an odd thing happened. After an odd boot-up cycle, I went to recheck if I could enter things in and it worked.

I feel degradation may have occurred in the OS? Just registry issues and stuff... odd.
