does r7 1700x support G.SKILL RIPJAWS V 1x16gb at 3200mhz?

does it work flawlessly or do you need to adjust something in the bios or is 3200mhz underclocked with no way of overclocking it back up?

Nah, its dual rank, problems.

Which mobo you want to get?

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

I've got the 2x8GB version of that kit, and it's been hit or miss. Before AGESA 1.0.0.6 I could only POST at 2400 MHz and now I'm stable at 3066 MHz, but no idea if I'll get 3200. It also depends on if your board supports the kit as well (mine does not), so that's also a factor.

But as dave_k said, it's a dual-rank kit, so you're not starting in a good spot for it.

My opinion is to get ram based solely on the speed of the memory kit. Eg. 3000mhz or 3200mhz kits. Don't spend more money or make your memory purchase on compatibility with Ryzen. I have a new R3 1200 build with an 8GB kit of Team Dark Pro memory 3200mhz. I got whatever the cheapest 3200mhz kit was at the time. Has the thickest metal heat sinks that I have ever had on any memory stick. I think only one review on newegg for this ram. The stock motherboard bios was worthless for getting good ram timings. After updating the bios to the latest was able to get a stable clock @ 3066mhz.

I think with the Ryzen platform as motherboard manufacturers continue to update the bios on the very new AM4 platform. The memory kits will be stable @ their rated clock speeds and probably have the ability to OC above their rated speeds in the near future.

What I am saying ram is ram. Though my favorite ram maker is G.skill for value alone.
