Hey.

Heres and interesting off topic post for ya.

My school is having a variety show, and I wanted to do a stand-up comedy act. Comedy has always been a passion of mine, but I’ve never really tried to persue it, so seeing as there will be a variety show coming up, I figured: here’s a chance to start something. I’ve only done two comedy shows before, both of which I thought where successful:

  • A play, which was easy since I was preforming to younger elementary students.
  • MCing a variety show, which was also easy since I was doing it for adults (it was for the parents at the school).

Now, I having trouble writhing something for the upcoming show because it will be very different in the sense that I will be the only one on stage, and I am preforming to an entire high school. This is also my first year of high school, so I believe the older grades will be quite sinnacle when they see a 7th grade student trying to do stand up (You know what I mean.). So, my question is (This is targeted at high school students):

What type of jokes would be appropriate for a high school. If you are in high school, what types of jokes would/do you find funny. Keep in mind teachers will be seeing this too, so whatever it is, it has to be rated “G”.

It has to be good cuz there are student-run auditions.

all opinions appreciated!

Since I am to lazy to put something interesting here, I will put everything, but slightly abbreviated. Here is everything:

also, some questions to make you wonder about life:

What is I and who is me? Who is you? Which armrest in the movie theatre is yours?

also,

Welcome to the internet, I will be your guide. Or something.
