What do you have now and how much are you willing to spend. Also, what is your cpu? The 1080 may be bottlenecked.

My budget is around 500-600$. But because I live in sweden my prices is kinda weird.

Right now I have a Ryzen 5 1600x and a Sapphire Radeon TRI-X R9 290 4GB. ( U can look in my profile for more details)

I'm also considering this - I'm rocking an i5-6500; looking to play WoW at 1440p @ 144hz. Some spots in suramar I can't get above 60 fps with my 970 FTW+.

WoW is heavily CPU bound due to its single threaded nature. I don't think a GPU upgrade will do anything besides cost you money in this case.

Get a 6600k for 7600k and push the overclock as high as you can. i7's are also good for this, but will not net you additional performance in WoW over the i5's

System specs:

4790k

GTX 1050

16GB DDR3

Samsung evo SSD

a few HDD's
