DP to VGA adapter

Hi,

 

I'm looking for a good (working) displayport to VGA adapter which can transform the digital signal which comes from my 1070 to an analog signal.

I've already ordered an advertised active adapter, but it didn't work. Does any of you have experience with a 10- series card and a VGA monitor?

they do exist but they have to be active cables with like a usb plug because it's a digital to analogue conversion. it's not great... to be honest

Where I work we have some POS systems with a small DP to VGA adapter. It’s nothing super fancy, and it doesn’t plug into the system in any other way.

I have like 4, they're really common and pretty cheapish. It should work, especially if it's active, must have been a fake or something.
