Hey guys i'm going for a high end build here, please let me know if there is anything I can/need to change to raise performance or lower cost. I plan to use it for video editing and recording as well, hence the i7 processor :)

P.S I don't know if this link directs you to the New Zealand site but it is around $4000 NZD ($3200 US)

Yes, it directs us to the nz version of pcpartpicker.

What's the system being used for? Programs being used?

Whatever the latest is, I am on a VERY budget laptop atm and haven't been in touch with the video editing side of things in awhile. Looking to build a machine to get me back into the short film comps and stuff :)

Alright.

Wait for aftermarket 290's if possible.
