Looking for a new headset, HyperX Cloud Core?

I've been using a Gamdias Hebe headset for about 2 years now that I got for 15$ (Newegg sale), and for the price I think they've definitely been really good for me, but the mic just recently stopped working, and the fake leather material that covers the earcups is starting to peel off. I've been looking around a bit for replacements, and the HyperX Cloud Core seems like a really good option, but I'd like to get some outside input. My budget is about 60 dollars, but of course, I don't want to be spending money for a product that's just as good as something cheaper. Thanks for helping me out,

Cutout

Hyper Xs are usually pretty good.  Personally, I use the Hyper X Cloud IIs.

From what I've heard/ seen the Core is pretty Similar to the Cloud II, but the II has a few more accessories and stuff. How do you like the HyperX Cloud IIs? Judging on your comment I can tell you like them, but any specific comments about them?

Hmm. Waiting for Black Friday would probably be a good idea, but at the same time I don't know if I want to go two months without a microphone. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Cloud Core is a good choice for the price. If you're willing to shell out more, you can get SHP9500 + boompro, that is a superb headset solution at the price point BUT its an open headphone so sound will leak in and out..

Senn Game series are basically HD558 (with slight tweaks, iirc) + a boom mic and sold at a hefty price (if there are no good deals and assuming they're following the msrp standards). PC37X (HD598 with slight tweaks) is also a good solution at $120 (massdrop).

TLDR: Get SHP9500 + Boompro if you're willing to shell out little bit more for a superb headset at the price point..

Cpu R5 1600 @3.7ghz - MB Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 - RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GBx2 @3000mhz - GPU Palit GTX 1070ti Dual - Storage Kingston FuryX 120GB SSD, WD 500GB Green HDD, Seagate 1TB HDD - PSU Seasonic X650 - Case Sharkoon S25-W - Display Zowie XL2411 - Peripherals Filco Ninja Browns, Zowie FK2 & Qck Hyperbeast Ed.

Thanks for the suggestion, but yeah, that is a bit more than I really want to pay, and considering I'm moving up from 15$ headphones, I think the audio quality on the HyperX Cloud Cores will be enough to impress me already. Thanks though, that does seem like a pretty solid option for a 100$ or so budget.
