Hey all. So i'm using the stock wraith spire cooler, Ryzen 5 1600, and Gigabyte Gaming 3 motherboard. I've overclocked in the past on every CPU i've used, but can't figure out how to overclock this board. With this board, you cannot set the Vcore, its an offset and never used that before. Dynamic Vcore(DVID). What would be an example for 1.35v on this setting? Trying to learn this to push my CPU to 3.8-3.9 ghz. Thanks!.

stock is 1.35 im pretty sure, so the offset is 1.35 +/- whatever you set the offset too.

Not sure if my chip is a "good" one in terms of silicon lottery, but i can hit 3.8 with the vcore set to -0.02 (only did that so it wasn't on auto anymore and stayed at a set voltage)

Stock is 1.36V And You go to core multiplier set it to Manual and type in a number so for you 39. Because 39X6 Is 3900MHZ But you also have to get fast ram so it can feed the processor

Yes as stated just a offset or underset.

Also brownie points for being a Steelers fan. :D

I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself

I would advice against Gigabyte AMD Motherboards, but that's opinion.

I got my 1600 to 4 GHz on 1.35V (but it was a bit unstable), and I managed to get it stable on 1.375. Granted, I have a Corsair H60 cooling it. But it's a 120mm Radiator, so no idea how much of a difference it makes against the stock cooler
