im some what new aswell but a mod would have to pin the topic.

 

i was only being 20% serious 80% kidding around. a pinned topic would have to be more detailed and informative tho.

I believe it was something to the effect of "Volta will be offered primarily to enterprise customers in the V100 form factor. We'll probably get around to gaming chips at some point but the tensor cores and their deep learning application are the primary focus here."

i have gtx 970 and really need to upgrade most games now demand 6gb Vram 

 

but i won't upgrade to any 1000 series because those card one year old and the new one will come out soon even if its 2018 i will wait

 

because like every tech what ever you buy give it two years and you will start consider upgrade 

 

for me i will wait 2000 series and get 2080
