Budget video editing PC

Hi. I'm new to PC building and all of the meanings/differences between each bit of hardware. I want to build a budget video editing PC for probably around £250 or $335 by getting most of the parts pre owned. I'll only be doing basic 1080p video editing on something like Sony Vegas but also web browse, Photoshop and I'll be using Ableton Live 9 for creating music.

 

1) I'm stuck whether to get an Intel core i5 7500 or a AMD Ryzen 1500X since I want around 3.40ghz with at least 4 cores. 

 

2) I don't know which motherboard to get or what is compatible with either one of those processors but i don't need any fancy features as i would only be editing 1080p content. I just want one that won't have any problems and that supports the Processor well.

 

3) I would preferably be getting 8gb of ram or possibly 16gb

 

4) I've been told the Nvidia GTX 1050 is good for video editing but it will take up most of my budget, since I'll only be doing simple video editing cheaper alternatives would be helpful

 

5) I'm not sure how to calculate which power supply to get but I know i'll be using a USB Powered Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 with Behringer MS40 220 volts speakers plugged into it.

 

Any help/advice would be very much appreciated

You can't delete, you report and wait for a mod to move it.
