So I sign up today to post this discussion, but what is up with the security question in order to sign up??

Back to the topic, So of course Nvidia has the 700, 800, 900, and 1000 series. Will they come up with another consumer series? or will they continue to reproduce the cards into a Ti thing? It will be interesting to see is another series like a "2000" series, something that we all can be able to hang with. A good priced cards for video production or stuff like that, for much better performance then the 1000 series. What are y'all's thoughts? There is an article called Volta, but don't know about it

Volta will be next. The exact nomenclature is undetermined... Weather it will be called the 2xxx series or something else entirely up in the air.

The Volta architecture is finished, and is already being used in scientific research. Realistically, Nvidia could release a GeForce SKU Volta this year, but they have no reason to. AMD's Vega doesn't compete with Pascal as it is on a performance or value level. No reason to release a better product when the current product is the best there is anyway...
