In case of a scam eBay has your back anyways. Even though the seller says no returns.

I had a chat with eBay trying to get this sorted out asap but they said they cannot help me with that. I told them that this is a scam and the seller is selling someone's else PC but legally I need to wait until "delivered" and after that I can start a return in order to get refunded.

They gave me the phone number of the seller in order for me to contact him and tell him to cancel the purchase so I can get my money back faster but as you'd guess I couldn't reach him. Called eBay again to tell them that I cannot reach him and would like to have a refund asap but again they said that I need to wait for the delivery, the legal and normal way even though I know the seller is a scammer. Again they said I should try and contact him through eBay messaging for order cancellation, which I did but never hoped to have any feedback from him.

And what you'd guess, the seller refunded me with this message attached to the PayPal refund: my apologies PayPal is not sending me the money so I'm unable to send but will be putting ad back up thanks. Yeah, right. BTW this is the 3rd time when people on eBay thought that they will receive the money straight away in their account. They didn't knew how selling on eBay works.

Happy me. Will get my money back to my PayPal account between 3-5 working days.

If he's saying he's going to re-list the item I would give eBay and shout and let them know. Last thing you want is someone who's not fully computer literate to fall for it.

Looks like he won't. Unless he creates another account.

You just never buy from an ebay person with 0 reputation with professional looking pictures. It's always a scam, 100% of the time

Already did before and it turned out to be genuine. Bought a GTX 970 for 100 when everybody else was selling it for £150-£170. I know that's a big difference between prices but worth a try.

eBay will refund you the money after scheduled delivery day

Yeah I know. That's what eBay said as well but I tried to see if there's anything that can be done to make this happen faster. Will get the money back in my PayPal account on the 3rd of October.
