hey got a question. there is 2 type of processor. k and non k. but in there turbo clock different. my question is if a non k processor's base 3.2 and turbo is 4.6. is it automatically rise up to turbo clock when needed. or will have to manually boost it? and is there any danger if the processor run in turbo max (non k processor) ? help will be greatly appreciable.

Automatically.  Non K will do it all by itself.  No worries about it damaging itself either.  Even with stock coolers it will be fine.

it will automatically increase the clock speed where/when needed

No there is no danger in running with turbo clock speeds - it will run hotter and consume more power for the duration of the turbo speeds - but even a stock cooler for a non-K cpu is good enough

Generally turbo only applies to one or two of the cores. In my mind, Turbo doesn't really mean much at all.

yes like 8th gen intel cpu has 4.6 for 1 core and 4.3 for all core turbo. now is non k chip can be boosted in turbo mode automatically or can I  manually boost to it to it max limit without a    z series motherboard? @mok @asand1 @TheGlenlivet

Non K chips on any (H, B, Z series) motherboard turbo boosts automatically.
