if u mean the wifi with a yellow icon that means it has found wifi networks and needs to connect to one still , it probably didnt save ur wifi settings :P

 

^ has nothing to do with a dead internet adapter so no :P its probably not dead

it is connected to it but just not to the internet it is on the network

are u connected using a router on the wifi or straight from the modem? it could be as simple as having the cable that goes from the modem to the router in the wrong port :P

no i have an asus wifi adapter in my z270e motherboard with the adapter screwed in the dedicated internet ports for it

im talking about ur modem and router, not ur pc there ._.

 

i recommend u google about how ur internet setup should be ect and check if u have anything wrong there :P
