I have told myself to stop limiting the power that my GPU can draw and get a new PSU. But! Which one should i choose and which one could you all recommend ? Also, ill be doing some OCing of my GPU too, so keep that in mind. Maybe even with cpu when i get a Z-series board.

My Rig:

Intel Core i3-6100

Asus STRiX RX470 OC

HyperX Fury Black 8GB

Asus H110M-K

Seagate 1TB Drive

XFX TS550

And if youre here to say "But that PSU should be enough!", no, it isnt.

Please choose a PSU from this site, ive got all my pc parts from there and havent had any problems with them, also, theyre located in my country.

What is the plan?
For what Components??

The PSU you have right now, should be based on Seasonic S12II-BRONZE series wich is group regulated and thus can be an issue with modern components...

with a 470gtx u need atleast a 550watt psu with a 16/22amp rail if i remember right

anything that has that requirements should work fine

Psst... It aint a GTX470, its AMD RX470.

And even if you meant RX 470, its 40+ amps

Gaming. The components should be listed already

Why do you think you need a bigger PSU?

Those components should be under 300W at load,..

For normal gaming something around 200W or so.

Yes, it's possible that the PSU isn't able to hold the voltages due to construction...

If there are other things you don't like about the PSU, you might replace it with a good, modern unit with DC-DC (and 10mF capacitance on +12V) but for that you should spend 100€ or something like that...

But you should save the money for a decent SSD first...

These are the 3 things that ive thought of:

NZXT S340

some SSD, probs 120gb

and a psu

and i dont really know which i should get first. If i get a new case, my friend is going to be right  there to buy it from me for his build, if i get an SSD, i can speed up my system some bit, and if i get a PSU, ill be able to not only bring my gpu back to normal speed, but oc it too.

And also, thats the only thing that i dont like about the PSU to be honest, its ability to trigger anti-surge. I dont like that its not modular or not even semi-modular, but thats minor.

I know that i have said that i already have a s340, but im saying that, cause i have some china case that i dont know the model of.

A bit??
You never ever had an SSD, have you??
I've replaced the 1TB HDD with a 500GB SSD in my PS4 for better loading times - and it absolutely was worth it.

IN some cases you halve the loading times....

That's really noticable and not just a bit...

Yes, youre right. I have never had an SSD, but to be honest, i cant brag about my 1tb drive too, the loading times depend, sometimes, they are below 30 seconds, which is pretty good for me.

Then you should get one and put Windows and the most used games on it.

It absolutely is worth it.

Even from (old) 15k SAS Drives (Fujitsu 147GB)...

Sorry for hijacking my own thread, but i just updated a driver for my RX 470 ( 17.9.2 ) and now my sound is missing. Not in youtube and windows, but in games. And yes, i checked their volume.

Edit: restarting the game fixed it. Highjacking my own thread has been sucessful.

Well, if the gpu is on 100% Power Target, it likes to trigger Asus Anti-Surge

That's because Anti-Surge gets triggered more easily than a Tumblr user in the 8th grade with four different genders. Realistically the problem wouldn't exist on another motherboard and a more cost-effective thing for your to upgrade would be an SSD. The XFX can supply the power you need just fine. It's an older unit but there's no reason to upgrade it unless it's been abused and actually cannot output its rated wattage anymore.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
