PUBG optimization

I have PUBG and I think the game needs a lot of optimization it is a good game, but not a lot of people can run it, I think they should optimize it so they low end gaming PCs can run it well. Tell me what you think.

@Vincent123 I mean all games in that genre are really badly optimized DayZ Rust H1Z1 all of them are bad.

Yea I know but PUBG is like a extremely popular game and they can get more famous if the optimize it better I think.

dayz was abandoned, rust is not bad actually. and they give you DX9 support too, so lower end pcs can run it smoother if they can't to 10+. h1z1 i never had issues with lag or performance drops anything. but i haven't played in years, I was banned before the game split into two games.

im pretty sure its the most played game on steam right now. so will more popularity even do anything? they sold 5 million copies in 4 months, thats better than AAA tittles do.  

 

and the only optimization they need to work on is servers, the server lag is terrible at times. and I have google fiber with a 8 ping from the closest USA server

Sure so were All the others when they came out but will see where PUBG ends up.

Hopefully they will optimize it better but it's an early access game and those tend to lack optimization.

Honestly haven't really checked them lately but i hope they will optimize PUBG better because people seem to really like it.

and so many people play it that if you haven't by now then you probably dont like the game genera, literally DOta 2 was the top game on steam for years and years, and in less than 5 months a brand new game beats it, thats never happend before, i dont think you actually realize how many players are active in this game.

 

DOTA2 has multi million dollar prize pools for comp games and this game beat that out.

That or you can simply select what people said by highlighting it and click quote this when it appears.

most people use quotes over tagging, tagging is usally to alert someone you are mentioning them. quoting is so the person knows the exact text you are replying to.

If they follow typical development, hardware optimization should come near the end of the beta. I've been in numerous beta's over the years and it's almost always right before the official release.

 

A lot of people forget that this is still in early access (another way of saying beta).

 

I firmly believe that it won't be a buggy mess when released, eventually.

 

I personally avoid it because of the developer and not because it's poorly optimized.

I have friends that play it just fine (50-60 fps) on low-ish settings on platforms from 2009 with a midrange GPU from previous generations.

Anyone complaining they can't run this game is playing on an absolute potato. My system is really midrange and old at this point (4670K from 2013 and a newer 1070) and I'm running this at 100fps most of the times. Only rainmaps drop down to 60-80. 

 

Just get a better computer, honestly.

I've seen a lot of people play CS:GO for example in a super low resolution and windowed mode just so they get more fps

Yeah true, but when you can get decent framerates (50-60) on a stock i7-860 and a GTX 960, anyone complaining isn't really running a gaming system.

It doesn’t lag it’s kinda chunky. Like I just want to be able to run it very smooth. I have the gtx 1080 16 gb Corsair vengeance.

I see in your other post you're running vsync. Seems as though you're already going horribly wrong on the basics of getting a responsive gameplay.
