Yes, Ryzen has no iGPU.

Get something like GT1030, should be enough

I am looking to purchase a ryzen 1700 for my workstation, but don’t need a GPU. I am prepared to buy a cheap gpu just to get video out, but the motherboard I am going to buy says it has onboard video with an itregrated graphics processor. Do I still need to buy a gpu to get video out and watch 4K content off the internet?
