Can I watch real 4k ?

hey I have a question maybe dumb but xD

My screen is 4k (3840/2160) and my resolution is on 1920/1080 because my software appear to little on 4k so i stay on 1080p WELL if I go on youtube and watch a 4k video, will it be on 4k ? Or will it be downscale to 1080p ?

If you downscale the resolution of windows to 1920 x 1080 then you don't get 4k.

That question answers itself really, you changed the resolution to 1080p.

Rest your resolution to 4k and then in the display settings, under scale and layout (if you are using Win10) you can change the text and Apps to make things readable.
