Master Boot Record Error

Dominik W

Hi,

Every time I start up my PC, I always get a Master Boot Record Error. Sometimes I press a key once, sometimes twice. Sometimes the PC won't even recognize the ssd even though it's properly connected.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have your USB/CD for windows?  If not do you have another computer to make one?  You can use the install CD to repair your MBR.

is it an old SSD?
have you tried another sata cable?
have you tried this guide (or similar)? https://www.pcworld.com/article/3113585/windows/how-to-repair-windows-master-boot-record-and-fix-your-bricked-pc.html

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?
