Looking at getting new monitors as my current ones flat out suck. Looking at 1080p (or cheap 1440p) 300-500 GBP for all 3.

I was thinking of 3 of these : https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01BV1XB2K/ref=psdc_428652031_t3_B00YQKTGR8

but  I feel like it would be a bit overkill?

My other choice was 3 of these : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00YQKTGR8/ref=s9u_cartx_gw_i2?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pd_rd_i=B00YQKTGR8&pd_rd_r=R1DQRT539YXNGPY4RFP1&pd_rd_w=VS7HK&pd_rd_wg=dheeN&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=XR0PAGAMEYC6CHP6HA8J&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=187bec3b-0822-4044-bbe9-441718232b3f&pf_rd_i=desktop

But I feel like 21" is a bit small for me. Also, the LG monitor has SO MUCH for the price; it's Freesync, 90hz and 25", the Asus monitor is 21" with no freesync/gsync and 70HZ.

Thoughts? My desk is pretty big and can just about support 3 of these.

I do alot. 3 monitors is definitely the perfect amount for me, (im running 3 24" 1080p monitors atm) but I'm tempted to get those purely because it's higher refresh rate, higher resolution, bigger size and freesync for the same price.

25" ultrawides are tiny, they will feel smaller than a 21.5" 16:9 monitor. They have equivalent height to a 20.0" 16:9 monitor.

Sorry, could you elaborate? Not quite sure what you mean. How could a 25" monitor feel like a 20" monitor?

Screen sizes are measured diagonally. A 25 inch diagonal monitor where the width is 2.37 times the height (21:9 aspect ratio) would mean the monitor is 23 inches wide and 9.7 inches tall.

In the other hand a 21.5 inch monitor where the width is 1.77 times the height (16:9 aspect ratio) would mean the monitor is 18.7 inches wide and 10.5 inches tall.

While the 25" is wider, it is still 1 whole inch shorter than even a 21.5" 16:9 monitor. Believe me, that matters more, a 25" ultrawide is not equivalent in perceived size to a 25" 16:9 monitor.

I would suggest trying out a 25" ultrawide in a store if you can.
