Sorry, that means it's OneNote's fault, because it's copying the text as an image as well as plain text, and the forum prefers images over plain text because that allows you to paste images directly into the editor rather than it just pasting a local URL to the image, which wouldn't work for anyone else. It shouldn't happen when copying content from other media.
I don't have MS Word installed on this computer, but could you just make sure that pasting works as expected from Word (if it doesn't, something should be done to fix it)?
