Possible Motherboard Issue..?

Hey everyone,

Not sure what happened to cause this issue but here's how it goes..

I boot the PC.

PC Turns on but no display signal.

PC Turns off & then turns back on.

PC is on & has a message OC Fail, restored default settings.

Boots into bios & turns off XMP, Saves & restarts.

Boots into bios again and turns on XMP, Saves & restarts.

PC boots up fine with XMP and has no other issues after that.

The only OC that I have done is the XMP profile which OC the ram to its 3000Mhz speed and OC the cpu to 3.6Ghz.

This happens everyday the pc is turned on. Once I do all that, it works fine.

So I'm not totally sure if its the motherboard or the ram but the ram and cpu pass MemTest86 without issues and the cpu passes the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool.

I also ran Aida64 for 30 or so minutes and no crashes occurred.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

The XMP profile does not work, it always boots from BIOS after you set it but it wont work on cold boot. Happened to me too

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

Try to overclock the memory yourself

I went ahead and overclocked the cpu first and then turned on XMP.

Booted up just fine now!
