SSD M.2 raid?

Bever

Hello there. Can you put a M.2 Type ssd in raid? The kind where 2 becomes 1 or how it is? Raid 1 or 0 if i'm not wrong.
Or does it only work on the sata type.

That would be raid 0, where both drives function as one

You can most likely do it with SATA based M.2 SSDs. NVMe ones require Intel's X299 (and it requires paying more if you want to do more than RAID0) or AMD's X399. And it may depend on if the motherboard manufacturer implemented it.

You might be able to do it with expansion cards, but I have my doubts.

Why would you want to?

1 - you'll lose TRIM support when your put an SSD in RAID

2 - you double the chance of losing your data with RAID0

3 - the performance gain is hardly noticeable
