First of all, I already have a good gaming PC already, before you guys go ahead and tell me to just get one.

So, I was thinking of a nice laptop, around 2.5k on a website that ships to Canada, preferrebly on a website that also allows customization.

Some things I'd like this laptop to have

200-300 gb SSD/mSSD

1TB HDD (5400 or 7200 rpm)

i7 Quad Core Haswell

GTX 780m/780m SLI

Not super extreme heavy weapons guy heavy.

Windows 8/8.1

1920x1080

8 gbs+ of ram, 1333+ mhz.

i7 3770 w/ stock cooler - 16 gigs of 1600 mhz ram - AMD Radeon 7770 from Asus - P8H77-M mobo - no name 400w psu - 3000 GB HDD - 128 GB Sandisk SSD all housed in a matte black/red H440

thanks and have fun

Do you really need one though? If you already have one and you are not going to be leaving your desktop for very long periods of time can't you just wait to get home to do work/gaming? Instead of spending alot of cash on a  un-needed item?

You actually make a point I did not think over too much, now that I think about that.

A $3000 will perform like a desktop worth half that. Also the laptop will have horrible battery life and will be heavy and bulky. I'd really recommend rebuilding/improving/replacing your desktop so that it suits your gaming needs, and then getting a light, smooth notebook/ultrabook.

Current rig: i5 4670K | GTX 670 | Asus Z87I-Pro | Silverstone Strider Plus 600W | Custom mITX case | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Samsung 840 120GB | G430 | CM Storm Quickfire Pro - MX Red | LG 21.5"
