trying to cut the price a little bit.*I am mainly wondering if there is a better option for the mobo* / alternate build ideas. I already have the GPU, CPU and case from previous build.

id rather use 2 sticks for dual, I will probably just get some used ddr4 depending on how much i can cut the cost.

Not worth it. You should avoid using 4GB DIMMs as much as possible these days. Plus, the performance difference with dual channel is minimal, you're MUCH better off getting cheaper, faster RAM, especially with Ryzen.

It's $30 more expensive, however, I do not recommend the GTX 1060, that's just a placeholder. What you should do, is buy a used GTX 970 or GTX 980 since you can get a 970 for less than $200 ez, or a 980 for less than ~$240. Either of these will get you back down to the same price as the original system you were looking at AND this has a better motherboard, as well as an SSD and faster RAM. If you manage to get a GTX 980 for <$220 or get a GTX 970, then you can swap the Deepcool case back to the CM N200, if you want.

Not as far as I'm aware. Again though, I didn't recommend the GTX 1060, it's a placeholder.

Uh, yeah, idk how much I believe that. He links a video but it doesn't even show the GTX 1060 throttling at any point, so he's making claims without actually showing any proof of thermal throttling. Useful to note though, in case I hear/see anything more from someone who owns the card. Regardless though, I'd recommend a used GTX 970 or GTX 980 for this budget anyway, and even if I WAS going to recommend a GTX 1060, I'd have probably recommended a different one lol
