I'm looking for a new mouse and I can't decide between a Razer Deathadder 2013 or a Steelseries Sensei Raw. I heard about Sensei's acceleration but is it noticeable? Razer also has a history of poor quality.

I use palm grip.

I play games like Arma III and CS:GO, League of Legends, Indie games, and also singleplayer games like Skyrim.

I use dpi at around 2000

I have small hands(I'm 14)

If you don't mind put why you think one is better

Only two of the five mentioned games are FPS's. Get a Naga 2014 if you be playing MMO's and RPG's. They also work for shortcuts in counterstrike that come in handy.

I've used the DeathAdder for a total of 5 years (I've gone through 2 because they break after ~2 years of heavy use).

I'm currently using the SteelSeries Sensei RAW (I've been using it for a year or so now).

Overall, I like the shape/material of the Sensei much better. I have small hands too, and the Sensei fits my claw grip much better. It's a lot smaller / more compact than the DeathAdder. However, the DeathAdder is still an awesome mouse, (especially because they used to run for $40) and I still recommend it. If the Sensei ends up lasting longer than the DeathAdder, I'd say it's better.

I own a Sensei RAW, and I really like it. You get the same sensor and pretty much the same specs as the flagship mouse of SteelSeries, except for a few minor downgrades that you probably won't ever use. I would go for the RAW version.

Intel Xeon E3-1230 V2 | CM Hyper 212 Evo | MSI ZH77A-G43 | HyperX Fury DDR3 8GBx2 | MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X 3GB

Lian-Li PC-A05FN | SanDisk Ultra II 240GB | WD 1TB Blue | Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 550W | ASUS MG248Q

Cherry G80-3000 (blue) | Ducky 9008 Shine 2 (black/blue LED) | Ducky 9087 Shine 2 Year of the Dragon (brown/yellow LED)

Ducky Mini Year of the Horse (white/blue+red LED) | Steelseries 6Gv2 (black) | Leopold FC660M (red) | Vortex Race 3 (blue)

Logitech G400s | Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition | Razer Goliathus Speed

Steelseries Sensei RAW | SteelSeries Qck | Zowie EC1-ASteelseries Qck+ Fnatic edition

Ya I have a problem with the quality of razer gear as well, my mamba was falling apart in a number of months. I have the non raw sensei and its great, the switches are fantastic and I haven't had any issues with the sensor, and from what I can remember I think they have the same sensor/switches and its lasted a lot longer than my mamba did.

The deathadder is pretty much a staple in gaming mice though so I guess someone likes it, but while your comparing consider the rival from steelseries as well since it has an optical sensor like the deathadder, looks fantastic and I think is around a similar price to the sensei raw, it could be a little big for you though (its a pretty long mouse).

If you think the size is actually going to be a problem, most companies package their mice these days in a way that you can hold it without opening the pack so you can at least get a bit of a feel for it before buying if you go into an actual shop, I've never really based a purchase off holding a mouse through packaging but at least its better than nothing.
