Teksavvy Users

Hello people of LTT,

 

I come bearing a question. To anyone in the Ontario, Canada area using Teksavvy as an Internet Service Provider: Have you been able to sign up with their service while using a modem that they do not ship, and that you have bought which was not included under their "Approved Modems" list? I'm currently exploring different avenues in terms of getting cheaper internet, but want to make sure I can get the best bang for the buck seeing as Rogers is duping me for the same speeds at a larger price.

 

If this involves me buying a modem, I don't mind it at all, I just want to know what I could do in the worst/best case scenario.

Which package are you going for?

They provide both Cable (Coax) and DSL (copper line) services.

Sorry, should have mentioned. Was thinking of the Cable 150 package.
