Normally to my knowledge windows should install whether it's MBR or GPT... You'll have to reformat the drive as GPT if that's what it really wants. You can use a windows recovery disk to launch the command prompt if you have one laying around.

Ive gone into the command prompt but when i try to select the disk it just states that the disk is not valid?

Disk Management can also do the same thing.

Not when there's no OS installed.
