Come on Hunter, you have 221 posts, you know the drill.

What are you doing when you see that much vram usage?  Idle?  Gamine?  What are the system specs?  What are the FPS when seeing that usage?  What game?  etc. etc...

idk man I just see it on the Asus tweak2 software and I see someone said hes vram usage is 95% so its weird cuz all works good o_0

just tell me if its normal or not cuz if theres a problem ill go to the shop and use my warranty

Yup. What are you doing when the VRAM is so low? That's normal for idle, but under load that would be weird.

If everything works fine, then no prob, could just be a sensor error. What CPU/RAM do you have, and what res do you play at?

Do you have GeForce Experience? It will do it for you, you just enable the overlay (control + Z, IIRC).

At idle, with nothing running except the desktop, you will see the 4% or less you mentioned.  With Mordor running it should be higher, like in the 90% area.  All that is normal.  No warranty necessary...

I don't remember, I think you use ctrl-Z to open the recording software and then go to the settings icon and enable the FPS counter. Or just run Unigine Valley, it tells you your fps and a bunch of other stats.

Yeah. CS:GO uses basically nothing on a 1070. I highly doubt the textures would take up much of your 8GB VRAM.

Don't worry too much about usage, instead look a the performance.  If your FPS are bad, or laggy or stuttering then look at usage to see if there is a problem.  A 1070 will CRUSH CSGO at any resolution.  It won't show high usage playing that game.

Goody. Make sure Windows 10 game mode is off as well, it makes it perform worse.
