Small blower card?

Epiclol86

Hey, I'm going to build a small form factor pc in the near future (as a living room gaming pc, console replacement type of thing) and I was wondering If you guys knew of a small blower fan graphics card that i could use. Preferably something of this generation, but i could go with last gen too. no price restriction (I mean, be reasonable, no multi tousand dollar workstation gpus please!).

I'm almost certain there isn't any cards like this, pretty much all blower style GPU's are standard or larger size, blower style cards usually aren't as good at cooling as normal cards, hence why there isn't any smaller versions, i can recommend some smaller sized gpu's if you want

yhea that would be nice thanks! I was thinking about a blower style because i thought that maybe directing the hot air outide of the case would be helpfull especially in a small case... but if it doesn't exist i'll go for small cards

A small form factor 1050ti , it won't be smashing crysis at 4k anytime soon, but it's more than capable card for the money, it a relatively new card too! i don't have one myself but from what i hear if you want solid  gaming performance look this is the card!

Does the case take full-height cards? Are you certain that an FE wouldn't fit?

Also, if you need a blower, the FE should be your only choice as EVGA/Asus/MSI didn't make any improvements to their designs.

I'm building the case myself to be as small as possible. That means full size is almost certainly out of the question...

technically, you could mount the card flat, and make the case longer but flatter.

i was thinking about that. It would be a lot more complicated but If I do that I could use something like that flat 1070 (the katana i think?)

You'd also have to make sure the back of the card doesn't make contact with the case or you might have issues with shorts!

It would work, since a PSU is about 1.5 times a thick as a dual slot card, and the mobo is most likely about 0.5 the size of the card, but if you would move the card to be from the Cpu socket to the PCIE socket, It would fit fine...

if it has a backplate, then it souldn't have a issue.

your case won't go any flatter than your CPU Cooler or your PSU if your cooler is the SFF cooler.

I could help you design the Case and Add a full size card there. I could help you with the placement of components, things like that, Hope you have a accurate hand, since it will need some serious skill to do it all.
